i am supposed to be working on my philosophy homework right now but i have one, seemingly insignificant thought to pose. it is this. arrogance is one of those ghastly characteristics that is nearly impossible for me to tolerate.
where did this thought come from? election day is less than 2 weeks away and my mind is exhausted from hearing hostile remarks regarding our current president. sometimes i feel like drawing a line in the dust and calling out, "if any of you have never made a mistake, cross the line. if any of you think that you can lead an entire nation, cross the line".
when has arrogance ever lead to peace? rather than kicking a man when he's down, why not try something counter-cultural; like loving your neighbor?
